As project engineer you will become part of REM Tec’s global technical team to develop the next generation of the Company’s AGROVOLTAICO® systems. On the project side, you will participate in the overall design and engineering of Agri-PV sites and technical aspects. The project engineer will work hand in hand with our project management and construction supervision team to ensure a safe, high quality and profitable project outcome.
What you will do:
- Design and optimize plant general arrangement layouts and electrical components of utility scale Agri PV systems
- Prepare detailed reports and calculations for electrical and mechanical system designs as well as foundations
- Perform 3D terrain-based yield analysis of project designs using our in-house developed software
- Generate permit and construction drawings including installation details with direction and markups provided by senior design staff
- Coordinate the execution of engineering (prefeasibility, basic, execution, As-Built) for the assigned projects, with the support of external consultants
- Perform cable and equipment sizing calculations and generate electrical diagrams based on local/International standards and practice
- Assist with creating engineering standardizations and procedures to facilitate the Construction and Development teams
- Work closely with construction management team on liaising issues during construction phase
- Support our construction team members in other capacities as needed
- Liaise with and manage external technical consultants for construction, permitting, and other support works
Profile of ideal candidate:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in elettrica o elettronica o energetica o ambientale o meccanica o civile or related subject area
- Experience in renewable energy sector is a plus
- Deep know-how and experience in technical design using AutoCAD as well as further technical planning tools (Solidworks (opzionale), Inventor, Solidedge)
- Showing of fast comprehension in new and complex contents, flexibility, solution orientation and a team driven personality
- Fluent speaking and excellent writing in Italian (native) and English (Minimum Level B2)
- Demonstration of hands-on, entrepreneurial approach and a high level of commitment
