As electromechanical engineer you will become part of REM Tec’s global technical team to develop the next generation of the Company’s AGROVOLTAICO® systems. On the project side, you will be responsible for the engineering and review of electrical works of PV installations and the review of technical aspects related to grid connection. Further, you will be in charge of the analysis of the selected electromechanical technology and design of the same, in order to check the compliance with and the fulfillment of the Grid Code Requirements.
What you will do:
Drive project engineering activities (in Italy and internationally) to deliver competitive, optimized design decisions and project outcomes
Engineering review of electrical works:
review design of electrical works
review load-flow analysis
review of the consistency of the technical solution adopted and sizing for electromechanical equipment
Grid Connection Analysis
Review technical aspects related grid connection in particular regarding power quality requirements and adequacy of project designs
Support the development, procurement and construction processes by preparing technical specifications, scope of work documentation and generating electrical diagrams
Ensure the detailed electrical, communication and electromechanical design and IFC (Issue For Construction) drawings and documentation comply with electrical codes, utility standards and plant requirements
Perform site visits during construction and commissioning
Profile of ideal candidate:
Bachelor or Master’s degree in elettrica o elettronica o energetica or related subject area
At least 2+ years of profound experience as electrical engineer
Experience in renewable energy sector is a plus
Deep know-how and experience in technical design using AutoCAD as well as further technical planning tools (Solidworks (opzionale), Inventor, Solidedge) and project management software
Familiarity with DC/AC, DC/DC power conversion systems, automation controllers, communications devices, transformers, protection devices and/or medium voltage switchgears
Showing of fast comprehension in new and complex contents, flexibility, solution orientation and a team driven personality
Attention to detail is key
Fluent speaking and excellent written in Italian (native) and English (Minimum Level B1)
Demonstration of hands-on, entrepreneurial approach and a high level of commitment
